We are truly saddened to announce the passing of our beloved, Merel Shearer-Dobbins on Tuesday, December 29, 2020. Merel is the daughter of Elijah and Jessie (Shearer) Hampton, and the granddaughter of Willie and Betty Shearer. We ask for prayers for her mother, her sons, Marlon and Christopher, her siblings, Christine, Janice, Sonny, Nancy, Henrietta, Eddie, Marcus, Betty, Bobby, grandchildren and host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, January 6, 2021 from 1 pm-6 pm at Bushelon Funeral Home. Graveside service will be on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 11 am at Oakland Cemetery.
