Norman is survived by children Norman, Jr, Clarence and Betty McNeil. His son Leaon died in Tuscaloosa in 1990.

Clarence Shearer
Hello Family my name is Clarence Anthony Shearer.I am the eldest son of Norman Shearer,and my sister is Betty Shearer Mcneil. My wife's name is Carolyn and we've been married 16 yrs.we've been together for 22yrs. I have 3 sons and she has 3 daughters all who reside in New Jersey.Collectively we have 7 Grandchilden ranging from 2 to 8.
