Iphenia Lawson Shearer was born in Gallion (Marengo County) Alabama on October 12, 1893 to the late Isom and Harriett Lawson.  She passed on September 7, 1977 at the West End Baptist Hospital, Birmingham Alabama.  She is buried in Shadow Lawn Cemetery, Birmingham, Alabama.
