NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. Haywood Braxton, age 77, of New York City, N.Y., died Aug. 26, 2012. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Morning Star Baptist Church in Demopolis with Rev. Charlie Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Demopolis Memorial Gardens with Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis directing. Viewing will be Saturday from 2 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services at the church.
