Marcus D. Shearer passed away yesterday, Monday, November 13, 2023. Marcus was the son of Elijah and Jessie (Shearer) Hampton and the grandson of Willie and Betty Shearer.

Survived By: Marcus is survived by his daughter, Halasia "Lacy" Curry (Huntsville); brothers, Eddie Shearer (Cleveland, OH) and Bobby Shearer (Birmingham); his sisters, Christine Shearer (Atlanta, GA), Nancy Guss, Betty Collins, and Janice Christian (all of Birmingham), and a host of nieces and nephews.
