Mr. Edward Raymond Nunn, Assistant Principal, died Tuesday, November 30, 1993. He received his Batchlor's Degree from Miles College (Birmingham Alabama) and his Master's Degree from Wayne State University (Detroit Michigan). Mr. Nunn served as an assistant primcipal and principal in the Jefferson County School System until his retirement in 1976. Graveside services were held at Elmwood cemetery, Saturday, December 6, 1993.

Mr. Nunn was Assistant Principal and Head of the Science Department at Wenonah High School since the opening in 1948.
