WILLIS BURKS, JR., age 75, of Los Angeles, CA, passed away November 21, 2010. He was an actor/thespian for over 30 years. He was a member of the Screen Actors Guild, Actors League and a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He appeared in numerous television programs, films, and theatrical productions. He received the following awards: AUDELCO (Best Actor - Saint Lucy's Eyes); DRAMA DESK (Jitney); OBIE (Jitney); AUDELCO (Jitney). He is survived by his children, Willis Burks, III of Minneapolis, MN, Amy Burks-Jones of Fairfield, AL, Europe A. Burks of Minneapolis, MN and Jessiah C. Styles of Camden, NJ; sisters, Shirley A. Hood of Maricopa, AZ, Delois W. Rudolph and Barbara J. Davis of Long Beach, CA; brothers, Terry Hayes of Birmingham, AL and Isaac Daniels of Chicago, IL; grandchildren, Nashique, Korion, Jasauna, Paige, Tru, Emmanuel, Adonai, Jacodi and Alonzo; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Memorial service will be Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 11AM at Greater New Macedonia Ministries, Birmingham, AL. Bishop Robert Larkin, Sr. officiating.     Obituary
