Norma King Hilliard

In 1981 I attended Lawson State for a while then I decided to join the Military (Army). I served my country for 22 yrs. Retired Jan. 15, 2005. Resided in Yorktown, VA afterwards until my father was diagnose with Lung Cancer so I moved back to Birmingham June 2005. I am employed with the United States Postal Service since February 17, 2007.

Well as you all know, God called my youngest son home on February 8, 2015. He was 28 years old. We founded out he had an enlarged heart. This was the hardest pill I ever had to swallow.... it felt like a piece of my heart had been ripped OUT!!! "But God"! If it had not been for God I would have lost my mind. I thank God for keeping me in prefect peace!!! It has been a long road but each day gets better than the day before. God blessed me to get a home built in 2013 in McCalla, Al. I Love down here because it's peaceful and quiet. It makes me think of the country.
