Karen Colley Jackson

In 1990, I was offered a management position at Lady Footlocker in Albany, Georgia and that is where I have been ever since. I got married to Grady in 1992 and we have two children together. I am currently teaching in Headstart and loves to work with children. I have two beautiful granddaughters.

I was very active in school. I was an all around athelete and love being a dragon. I played volleyball, basketball, and was cheerleader. My most memorable moment was winning the girls state basketball tournament in 1986 with my teammates Lawanda Welch, Davida Mitchell, Wykenia Cooper, Clara Kidd, Tomeka Cole, myself and a few more. Coach Pitts took us back in '87 but we came up short but they have been winning ever since.
