I moved to New York with my first husband. Moved to Vermont after a divorce and finished undergraduate school. Moved to the University of Georgia to get a Masters degree and be closer to family. Moved to Auburn in 1978 with my second husband who got a job as a professor. I worked in Auburn City Schools and at Auburn University. Moved back to Birmingham in 1990 to be close to my mother. My husband was a Biochemist at UAB and I worked in Hoover. He died in 2005 and I moved to the Ocoee River in East Tennessee after I retired. My oldest daughter, Traci, lives in Chattanooga about 30 min. away, with her husband. My youngest daughter, Liz, is at Tulane doing a Ph.D. in tropical ecology.

Bruce Baggett gave me my first kiss in third grade. He ran up to my desk and kissed me on the cheek. I think I cried. Sorry Bruce, not the best way to handle a kiss.
