Evelyn Steele Witt, age 55, of Birmingham, Alabama, died July 1, 2005. She ws a member of St. Luke A.M.E. Zion Church, East Birmingham. Survivors include her husband, Cecil Witt, daughter, Janete Steele (fiance) Luther Cooper); 2 stepdaughters, 2 sisters; one brother; seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Services will be July 9, 2005, at 12:00 pm at St. Luke A.M.E. Zion Church, 3937 12th Avenue North.
