Has a reunion location been selected yet? Any chance we could have it at the school? Perhaps downstairs in the commons/cafeteria area. Anyway, I think that would be fun to have at the school as it would foster great reminiscing and allow people to see all the updates to the building.

Sorry I cannot attend the meeting as I am in Oregon.

The website looks great!

What a great website!

I can't be much help from the Seattle area, but I can do any on-line work or make phone calls if you need it. I'm happy to help in any way I can.

Thanks for doing all this.

Can anyone recommend good hotels - it has been a REALLY long time since I've been back.

Hi Missy,
It's so nice to hear that you're doing well. I will work on the TRAVEL page and add hotel info, maps, kid-friendly activities, etc... I will work on discount hotel rooms for the event too. B'ham has changed a lot in 20 years so the folks who still live around here will help out the out of towners. No worries. We will keep you in mind for planning too. Jason Glime and Kevin Royer are doing the planning so they are the ones to ask. We are still missing lots of folks though so maybe you could work on "search and rescue". J. Glime has a master list.
Are you still playing tennis?

Wow Demi this site is great!! I emailed about 8 people from the "missing" page who I keep in contact with. Emily Everson-Crook had emailed me awhile back saying she was very interested in helping out with the reunion and she lives in the area.

Question... will there just be one reunion event or will there be a family event where we can bring the kiddos and then an evening event with just spouses/partners?? A family event would be great so we could meet everyone's kids!

Can I still go to Dick O'Dow's or has the whole place been shut down?

My sister Margaret graduated in 1988 and her class just had their reunion. They had a dinner at Bloomfield Open Hunt, a tour of Seaholm, a night at Dick O'Dow's and a Sunday picnic at Beverly Park. It was nice for people to have a range of activities that they could choose from based on their budget and the families were invited to the picnic, so that was fun.
