Jill fought a battle with breast cancer for quite awhile. She fought with poise, strength and her great sense of humor at every step. I emailed her just a few weeks before her death and she told me that she was " looking for the joy in each day ". She was bolstered by her faith and her family and she will be sorely missed.

How very sad I am to hear this news.  Jill was a good friend and loved how we were part of the Sweet Adelines together.  Jill and her family came to visit once a good 25 years ago and then Jill visited Kalamazoo again as she was a presentor at a sewing workshop.  Jill was so bright, so talented, and had a great wit about her.  Sending prayers to her husband, children, grandchildren, Mom and sister.  I remember calling her "Jill Sue" - she didn't like it much.  Peace to you, My Friend.
