John was at his last day of work, when a atm machine (that they manufacture) was falling off a fork lift. He tried to push the load back on the pallet and it tragically fell on him.
John Noonan was a funny person. I remember his digs and his smiling making it funny instead of hurtful. He had a great knack for getting everyone laughing.
John had a delightful sense of humor. As John Dowd mentioned John always had a hugh smile on his face. I remember John coming to Mr. Rockwell's Chem Study class late (I knew why he was late because I was with him during the lunch hour right before Chem Study). Mr. Rockwell said in his jowely voice "Why John, why are you late". John very calmly look up at the classroom clock and said "Because it's 5 after". The class roared in laughter and Mr. Rockwell made no more mention of it. This memory is perfect example of John's demeaner - such a laid-back joyful young man. I will always remember his big smile and happy face. Rest in peace John.
