Greetings, Class of '89 grad! You're invited to our fast-approaching 20-year-reunion! Tickets are available for purchase at the bottom of this page, and detailed information appears below.

Time: 6:00pm - 1:00am

Ticket price: $100 per ticket OR $90/ticket if you buy 2 or more at one time -- price includes dinner fare (stations/buffet), late-nite snacks (coneys and sliders), and open bar
The reunion is TONIGHT!!! So far, we have 136 attendees. See below to buy – just follow prompts and click through. If you know you’re coming and haven't bought tickets yet, PLEASE PLEASE do so ASAP so we can get a final headcount to the Iroquois Club. Note that you can buy with a credit card online only. If you buy at the door, it’s cash or check only.
Here are answers to some FAQs:
What form of payment can I use? You can buy online with any major credit card (AmEx, Discover, Mastercard, and Visa). But if you buy at the door on Aug. 1, you have to pay with cash or check.
Will I get my tickets in the mail or at the reunion? Other than a printout of your email receipt of purchase (which the website automatically sends you upon completion of transaction), you won’t be getting a physical paper ticket. You’ll check in and register at the reunion, and you and your date/spouse/partner will get a nametag if you’ve paid in advance. Bring the printout of your email confirmation if you want to, but it’s not required.
What does the price include? Dinner fare, other food, and open bar! Plus big fun - a lot of us haven't seen one another in 20 years, right?!
What is "dinner" and when will it be served so I be sure not to miss it? We won't be doing a sit-down, served dinner. Instead, dinner fare (e.g., very heavy apps like veggie tray, chicken tenders, spring rolls, coconut shrimp, etc., plus prime rib sandwich station) will be available throughout the evening at stations and buffet-style. Later in the evening, there will also be a coney station and slider station. So there will be plenty to eat--and drink--throughout the night!
Is there anything going on Friday night? Yes, there will be an informal gathering at Dick O’Dow’s in Downtown Birmingham, on Friday, Jul. 31, starting at 7:30pm. The band “Funky Station” is playing that night – maybe they’ll play some bad 80s music for us. The address is 160 W. Maple Rd., Birmingham 48009, and phone is 248-642-1135. It’s super casual - just show up!
Is there a dress code and if so what is it? Dress for the reunion is “snappy casual” or “cocktail casual.” I.e., dress in something comfortable and nice—what you'd wear for a nice evening out with a date or friends—but there's no need to wear a tux (or even a tie) or a red-carpet gown. Please, no acid wash jeans, stirrup pants (we don't care that they're coming back), or geometric-print Cosby sweaters. But if you want to show up with a freshly-cut mullet or jean-jacket with a band's name painted on the back of it, that would be ok. :)
Is there going to be a car service so people don’t have to drink & drive? We’ve set up discounted rates with Oakland Taxi Services so that you can get home safely (as necessary). Their business cards and contact info will be available at the reunion.
Are there special plans for Sunday? Unfortunately, brunch at the Centerpoint Marriott has been nixed, since not very many people have booked at the Marriott for Saturday night. Also, the buzz is that people are getting together informally in smaller groups to do their own things on Sunday. However, there will be a tour of Groves from noon-2pm for those interested. Details will be available at the reunion and/or via announcements on this website and via email.
