Shannon Hogan Ramsey

I attended Harding university and received my
B.A. in 1993 in psychology. I returned to Farmington for 2 years and worked at Aquinas
Treatment Center. I moved to Seattle in 1995
with two of my college friends. I met my husband
through church and we were married in 1997.
I worked as a social worker at Northwest Behavioral Services for several years and then decided to stay at home with my childern. Right now my husband and I are working with advocacy groups to help chidern with special needs. Our son
was diagnosed with autism when he was four. we
started a support group and have been active in the autism community .

I remember myself as being painfully shy at Bismarck. I'm not like that anymore. College
helped me come out of my shell. I think high school was painful for me and that's just how I see it. I wish I wouldn't have wasted so much time on what other people thought of me.
