Hi Everyone,
I am so happy to be able to attend this reunion. It has been an exciting life now that I look back on it. After attending school in Fargo I worked at the Grand Rapids, MN airport working on float planes. then drove a beat up old vega (that was and adventure) to Connecticut to build military helicopters and fixed wing aircraft. After working there a year I hired on with United Airlines as an aircraft tech and flew out to San Francisco with a wife and new baby and the clothes on our backs. We transferred to Denver in 1986 living in the mountains. Spent 20 some years there backpacking and enjoying the outdoors.
After being divorced I decided to take a voluntary layoff and worked for an industrial dive operation in Curacao, an island of the coast of Venezuela. I later came back to the states and back to United Airlines, met my beautiful wife and have been living in California now working at Los Angeles International. I have to tell you after living in the Caribbean and Southern California I will never live in the cold again, brrrrrr! In fact we are planning on moving back to the Caribbean soon, it's even too cold in California :)
Now instead of backpacking and traveling for excitement I get to drive the LA freeways to work, dodging all the craziness :) It has been a great life and it keeps getting better, never been so happy.
I have always wished I could meet up with old classmates but never came to visit Bismarck much. It was cool so far to see the profiles on this site and some made me laugh. Looking forward to some laughs at the reunion.
I was just reading Ladd Hendrickson's profile I think I was one of his strange friends, lol. Hey Ladd I think I had some property near you in Montana, we were neighbors for a while :) next to the Bob Marshal Wilderness.
I just remembered talking to my wife lately about playing kick ball with all the neighborhood friends, Micky Fetch and his family, Tony Dwelle and all the gang, great memories.
