Kathy Johnston Murphy

I am most blessed with a wonderful family. I am married to Mike, and I have 2 adult children, 2 step-children, a son in law, a daughter in law, and 4 sweet granddaughters. I have been practicing law in Dallas, Texas since 1989 at a large firm specializing in family law matters, which keeps me extremely busy. I enjoy writing and speaking about family law topics, as well as mentoring the young lawyers in my firm, including my daughter who graduated from law school in May.

When I am not working, I love spending time with my family at the lake, doing yoga, learning the German language, and competitive ballroom dancing which I started at the age of 55.
