After graduation I spent six years at Leggett as a fashion buyer...got reacquainted with a high school boyfriend and married him in 1982--his career as a US Navy Supply Officer rather put the curbs on my retail career with the endless moves. He retired from the Navy in 2000 (I made him get another job in order to keep me in the manner to which I had become accustomed), and we've actually lived in our house now for nearly nine years in a row. I discovered the joys of childbirth education (Lamaze to most people) after having my own children, got my certification and have loved doing it ever since (so much for that BusAd degree). In addition to "regular" classes, I work with hospitalized high risk pregnant women. I have recently discovered Formula 1 racing and am an avid fan (if Sunday's get together is early, I won't be there 'til the Monaco Grand Prix is over--they're six hours ahead of us, so I'm not too worried)...but NO NASCAR for this gal. And if you haven't noticed, my life is a series of parentheses and ellipses...
