Walter Wyatt Osborne, Jr. passed away on August 11, 2018. Walter was born November 28, 1952.  He earned a BS at Virginia Tech where he was a proud member of the Regimental Band, the Highty Tighties.  He later earned a MS degree in Computer Science. Walter had a successful career working as a computer analyst for SunTrust Bank in Atlanta.  He was admired and respected by his coworkers for his professionalism, knowledge, positive attitude and work ethic.  He was a very active member of the First United Methodist Church in Lawrenceville, GA, singing in the choir and teaching Sunday School classes.  Church members remembered him for his generous nature, infectious laugh, biblical scholarship and strong faith.  He is survived by Wendy, his wife of 26 years.​
