Comments:

Worked in trades until military service. Was wounded in Viet Nam and then went to college at Catholic University and got my Bachelors and Masters. Married Karen (Dyer) Clink in 1971 who worked at the White House under three Presidents then chose to stay home with our children. Got to travel the world in my jobs and decided this is the best country on earth. Worked as an Engineer for Bechtel Power Corp, Automation Industries, and then for the Navy, then later retired from US Navy Cruise Missiles Program in 2006. Began writing after retirement and have five books on Amazon.com for the Kindle and hard copy under David C. Clink :Alfalfa Connection, Fires of Revenge, Two Pills to Rio, Me the Enemy, (soon) The Cost of Our Conveniences. www.davidclinkbooks.com. Been married for 43 years (not sure it is going to work out;>)

Wife and I also ran a Professional Photography studio from 1984 to 2014.

School Story:

One of the major downsides of being a vocational student in BHS was that you never made a connection with the regulars. Those that did not know you then still do not know you today. Saw that at the 20th and 30th reunions. We knew of them because of their activities, sports, student council, cheer leaders, etc. This was such an influence on me, I made sure my children went to a local school to make friends and memories for life. I have been best friends with John Oldenburg, another vocational student that became an Enginneer despite Mrs Ehlers telling us we would never get into College with just a vocational diploma and not 2 years of Spanish. I think of Histroy teacher (Mr. Newman?) that died of Hodgskins disease and I survived it.

I wanted to pass along that all of my novels will be available in hard copy through Amazon.com. They also will be available for the Kindle. Readers of our vintage seem to still want to hold an actual book so within a day or so all will assume that personna. This includes the latest book TWO PILLS TO RIO. I was called away for some research work on the current book last June about a week before the reunion.

You likely have no clue who I am but we all knew who you were. Great images and I feel so good that others of our ilk have adapted family values. I am working to include some of these emotions in my next book. Thrillers with a heart! HA

Hi Dave, We were in touch a while back, and good to see the pics you've added to the Reunion profile page. Hope you're planning to be in the area (Annapolis, that is) for the 50th Reunion in September. Take care, Linda (Kay) Herson

Ed, Dave clink here. Lost track of you and see you appeared as a Floridian. Give us some data and background. I am still in Maryland. Writing novels now after retirement. Still hang out with John Oldenburg after all these years and we raised our kids together and they are all best friends.
