Frances D. Shaw, age 64, formerly of Edgewater, Maryland, more recently of Troy and Tipp City, Ohio, died Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at SpringMeade HealthCenter, Tipp City, Ohio. She was born on November 2, 1946 in San Diego, California to the late Ivan and Helen (Crank) Wild. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kellie and Russell Grapes of Troy, Ohio; sister, Carolyn VanKirk of New York; and two grandchildren, Emily and Sean. In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Grill. Frances served as a computer analyst with Verizon for 30 years. Wow! Frankie was one of the girls that was so pretty most boys were afraid to ask her out. I met her again at PGCC when it was at Suitland HS and we had one date. and I thought I was on top of the world. Uncle Sam called and I never saw her again.
