Last Saturday afternoon we had the party for Mary Selk. It was lots of music and lots of fun. Besides the 2nd Pres Choir singing some selections, we alumns joined them in singing No Man is an Island and Give Me Your Tired Your Poor. Then was a roast which was fun and she gave as good as she got. Then a sing-a-long of Brigadoon, Almost Like Being In Love, Come To Me Bend To Me, 76 Trombones, Lida Rose, Goodnight My Someone, and Till There Was You. She is as spry as ever and just as bossy. It was like being back in A Cappella for one afternoon. I absolutely loved it.

Lynn Roseman was the Cherry Bomber.  He had been the junior class president for the class of 1962. I ran into him years ago. We never went over the particulars but he admitted he did it. He paid dearly for it too. Rumor has it that George Gilmore had some involvement. (laugh)

 From what I see, your committee has planned a very nice reunion. The price is affordable. The venue is fantastic! This is the big one. No one should miss their 50th. I don't know what has been done but it looks like it's time for a lot of phone calls. Good luck with that. It's a thankless job.

 I'll bet you have 100+ for your reunion. Your committee has done a fantastic job putting this together. That is a thankless job but a vital one. I hate to think of how many old school friends I put off seeing and then I look at the In Memory section of several sites and see how many I waited too late to see. This is your 50th. It's the biggest one. What ever you do, don't pass this up.
