Dan Marley

Went to ISU for 2 years as Bio major. Then to Colorado State University as Forestry major. Then Virginia Tech for Master's in Forestry. Then Southern Illinois University School of Medicine for my MD. Got married to Mary Stoffel (MD). Had my son Sam. Then the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center for residency in Family Medicine, and fellowship in Evidence-Based Medicine. Then (1990) moved to Madison WI to set up practice with the Dean Clinic. Had my daughter Eva. Learned to fly. Learned to sail. Divorced in 2004. Married Sheri Howard (BHS class of 1977). Moved to Bloomington, IL and started practice with Carle, then OSF. Split time between house in Ouray, CO and Bloomington. Retired 2022 and moved to Chattanooga, TN and Ouray.

Favorite classes: Physics with David Clark. Calculus with Noel Boatz. Biology II with Eldon Haab. German with Frau Guichard. I hung out with Phil Radcliffe, Bill Whitehurst, Brian Ochiltree, Mike Duffey, Joe Connolly. Played in bands with Chris Mancinelli and Randy Cook. Started sitting with cute sophomore girl named Sheri Howard at lunch in my senior year. We started dating just as I graduated. We went out together for the next 3 years. We went our separate ways and married other people and had kids over the next 20 years. We found each other again after divorces and got married and have been together since!
