George Albert Frese, 71, of Pekin, IL, passed away at 2:22 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at UnityPoint Health – Pekin.

Born May 26, 1947 in Bloomington to George and Ellen (Denchfield) Frese, he married Martha Lynne Jones on May 1, 1971 in Peoria.

Surviving are his wife, Marty Frese of Pekin; one son, Doug Frese of Lafayette, Indiana; one daughter, Rebecca Howell of Pekin; three grandchildren; Keegan Frese, Jordan Howell, and Allyson Howell; and one brother, Keith (Ann) Frese of Aurora, Colorado.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one infant daughter, Michelle Frese.

George was a United Navy veteran and worked for Caterpillar, Inc. for 36 years, retiring as a manufacturing engineer.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of Ducks Unlimited. He loved watching sports and was a fan of the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs.

Per George’s wishes, he was cremated. There were no services.
