James A. Frisch, 45, of Springfield, formerly of Bloomiongton, died at 8:01am Friday (March 12 , 1993) at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield, after a short illness.

A memorial will be at 7:00pm Monday at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, Springfield.  He will be cremated.

Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00pm Monday at the funeral home.

He was born October 17, 1947 at Bloomington, a son of Anthony and Agnes Broderick Frisch.  He married Corrine Broyles in 1970 in Springfield.  She survives.

Other survivors include his mother, Normal; a daughter, Nora Frisch, at home; and a sister, Kathleen Krantzner, Normal.

He was preceeded in death by his father.

Mr. Frisch, a graduate of Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, was creative director at Squire Advertising Agency, Inc. for 17 years.
