Dorene J. DeLong (Bartz)

Kirk,

I know this is a week overdue but by the way congratualtions on your Victory Bowl win and another winning season. You have done an amazing job with the team. What a rewarding job to work with and influence young people. Keep up the great job and know you are making a difference.

Betty M. Pate (Jorgenson)

Kim - sorry I haven't been on line for a few days.

Thankfully I do not have to be part of the recount process - I believe they save that for the head judges and I keep myself blissfully away from that position.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

Dorene,

Thanks for the nice shout out, I really appreciate it. We have a great group of young men and they are fun to be around. Sometimes, coaching is not even a job. Though I don't think Brad Childress would say that... :-)

Kirk -

Childress has it easy compaired to Marinelli and the Lions!

Dona M. Trabant (Inman)

As the Holidays near, times goes so fast things begin to blur. Please stop and take time to touch base with those you love and miss. A phone call is precious to some.
I just lost my daughters grandmother, and my grand children's great-grandmother Friday. Thank God they took time to spend with her these last few months. You never know when it will be the last.

Have a joyous Christmas, and a safe New Year!

Dona

MINNESOTA HISTORY:

"A Serious Man" to be out September 2009.

Once again not only Minnesota makes the news in movie productions, but this time right here in Bloomington. Many of us got to see it in motion as they blocked off 4th avenue from 84th to 86th to film part of a new Coen brothers movie. They also used 3 other sights here in Bloomington. It is a movie set in 1967 in a St. Louis Park neighborhood, where a professors life is falling apart. There is a scene shot at Normandale Comm. which Mayor Winstead has a non-speaking part in. They filmed part at the Dwan Golf Course and the old sigh from the Great Bear Center on Lyndale. For more, read on at www.ci.bloomington.mn.us It is in the December issue.

It's early here eagles....I am MST....just can't seem to get away from Canada, Calgary esp.....even though I love the U.S.A., I guess I have to stay here until the Doctor says otherwise....other than that, I get 3 squares and a cot. I am not alone here, I have met like minded people who are helping me on my vision quest. Remember that movie???? Remember Risky Business? Remember Tom Cruise? How weird he is still around making movies still.

In a way I can relate to him, for years I have been running around like a Maverick....yes...call sign Maverick...now here at least I have Goose, and yes the Ice Man is here as well as Viper, remember him??????

Truthfully I don't know what I would have done if I had not been able to come to this site, to my old trusted freinds.....

I've shown this web-site to my friends on Unite 49, and yes we actually are on the 49th Parallel North America.....and this is not Kansas, I am not actually sure where....I have shown the pictures of the 30th reunion to some of my friends and the word is out....JFK was always famous.....he was the most beloved President of our time and we are all blessed to have attended his school.....and I....I am blessed to say that I have known the best people who walked his halls,

the shear brillance of the collective mind....
The word is out.....I think in a way we all knew we were special.....go eagles and if you could do me a personal favor this holiday season...please go see the movie Eagle Eye.....I hear it's out on DVD now.....I am her, wish I could have played her myself....let's have a vote, who is more beautiful, her or me????? Love Colleen, keep the faith in God and your self....and please e-mail me,
