For those of us that were and are friends with Tom Peck..

Patti Jo Peck February 13 at 8:16am
Hello- sorry it has taken me so long to respond, Tom had deep brain stimulation surgery for his Parkinsons and is doing well. They will turn the unit on Feb 25 and program it and we hope for an excellent improvement! I'll try to keep you posted.
Patti

Lets all try to keep in touch with him and lift his spirits. He was always there for me and many of you.

Hi Guys:
Just got back from a little R&R in Florida. Looks like you were inquiring about a possible bike run this summer for the 50’s party week? Would be glad to help out here with that one, and really pretty easy. Even for multiple dates or destinations. I am always going on rides through out the summer. Half day shorter rides to full day rides such as Duluth…. here are some suggestions where all are welcome! And are already organized by established group leaders with good rules to abide by and awesome routes to enjoy! My church group “Hosanna’” in Lakeville does 2 separate rides each month from May to Sept. A half day ride every other Sunday that starts at 2 PM and another a full day ride every forth Saturday each Month Starts at 9 AM. Check out there Bikers web site, http://www.hosannabikers.org/
on average there are about 50 to 100 bikers participate at each ride event. And at the end of most of the half day rides someone hosts a BBQ after which is welcome to all and is always ready for large numbers of folks to attend. Just a jar or can usually set up for you to put a donation to help with at each for appreciation and help with costs, etc
There are also other organized rides in between which is fun too. Like after work mid week rides say just to go get an ice cream cone and overlook the river bluffs of the Mississippi in say Hastings. This group meets Tuesday evenings at 6:30 PM and ride till about 9 PM
Hope this helps and on another note when this does come together for those of you who think this sounds like fun but you don’t have a bike? Well if you feel comfortable being a passenger let some one here know that you are interested in going and well find a way to make the experience and bike trip come true for you.

Does this event sound like something your interested in for the 50’s party week? If so easy to put together, let me know….
Good to see you guys all still connecting here regularly. Thanks for the heads up here about this Dona and Adam glad to help…Rod

Dona,

Do you have an address for Tom Peck for us to send a note to? He taught an aviation course during Mods at Portland that I took. I have spent my life in aviation and he was my introduction.

Bret --

Forget the snow fort --they need above ground tunnels!!
Like stringing the wire from the house to the barn!!

Cool shots! Looks like the mid west.

Hey Kevin,

Cool pictures.
I like your car. Is that the 2006 or a 2007 model??

02/22/10 11:33 PM #1133

Kevin M. Gaukel

Luckily, John...No.

That was purchased brand-new in November 2002. Ironically - at Tempe Toyota in Tempe Arizona. Back when I bought that car, I thought I would never leave the Sonoran Desert.

Car has nearly 150,000 on it and still runs like it did when I bought the car.

What makes me mad - I was going to go out on my Cross Country skis I bought in Syracuse, but I ended up shoveling snow instead. I could have made easily made a fort with all the snow I shoveled.
