Michelle Franz (Lisser)

Hey everyone

I sure wish I could have connected with everyone when I was in MN, but unfortunately our time was filled with things we needed to get completed on my Dad's behalf.

I would, however, ask that all of you pray for some friends of ours here in Kingwood.  Their 16 year old son suffered a horrible brain injury just over a month ago, on some of the doctors first recommendations that they didnt see brain activity, they pretty much decided to let him go to heaven. but then God said, no--it isnt time for that yet.. unbelieveable walk of faith & miracles unfolding right here in Kingwood, Texas.  It would make me really happy to know that all my fellow JFK 1978 graduates in MN, and whereever you now reside, are bringing the petition of Thomas Joseph Stanton's healing to the cross.  I know that little miracles are taking place each and every day for this young man, we need to enlist as many as possible to pray for him, whereever you are, and whatever church you go to, for complete healing.

Thanks!  Here is the Caring bridges web site with his story:

Thanks, I know we can see a miracle here!  If you could even put him on the prater lists in your churches..that would be wonderful!

Shelly

I'll be praying as the Lord leads me Michelle.  Be encouraged!  Last year, a close friend of mine had a serious heart attack.  He died 3 times.  Each time, the hospital staff told his wife to let him go.  She refused and stood on the Word of God.  The doctors brought his body to near freezing level to try to preserve the organs.  Many people prayed for him.  The medical staff gave him no hope of recovery or if he did survive, they thought his brain would be dead or near dead.  Today he is totally recovered!  There is no sign of brain damage (in fact, he is probably operating better in that capacity as well).  The medical staff are declaring him a true miracle!

I am a bit (ok, a lot) late in joining all the "50th Reunion" buzz, but who all is meeting at 6pm tomorrow/Friday at the Beer Tent at the Bloomington Fireman's Softball Tournament? I sold my Harley a couple years ago, but have upgraded to a husband! After all these years of being single, I found a really great guy and got married on May 1, 2010. We are planning on being at the beer tent at 6pm Friday and I am wondering who to look for?

Thank you EVERYONE that contributed and enjoyed the last 9

days of FUN and reunions.  Althoe I am glad the 'planning' is over, I am not

glad the gatherings and fun is.   I miss SOOO many of you and hate the gaps

in our contacts.  Lets all stay in touch and get together more often!

We do NOT need an occasion to stay friends. :-)

Bless you all and have a safe summer!

Good turn out at the Firemans, must have been 25, 30 people from class of 78. Let's do better next year. You know we had the best class out of that school. Look foward to pictures from Adam Lee, Donna, Betty and all those who took them. It was a Kodak moment. T.K.

Sounds like you all had fun at your brunch!

I want to thank Craig again, for creating this class of 1978 tool--even if you cant get to the reunions, it sure feels like you can be part of the going-ons!

I am sure the class of 1980;s reunion  ( where my little bro Todd is going tonight) wishes that they had something like this.

Thanks again, Craig!  I love getting the birthday reminders too, makes you feel like you can at least stay in touch somewhat, no matter where you are in the world, or in life for that matter!

Shelly

I want to give something for all I have been blessed with, in a show of support for Ellen Heitzman (Levandoski) and the MS Society (its a great tax deduction too!). I would like to invite others to join me...I'm going to offer up a matching challenge to only the Kennedy78 grads. I'll match each cash gift to Ellen's link above for the "Challenge Walk MS", but I'll have to limit my total matching to 1K. But if my 1K gets matched by 8/26/2010, I'll raise my matching funds to 2K. I'll try match with in 48 hours, sooner if you text page me 310-239-2849.
Oh right, don't make it an anonymous gift so I can see what you gave on the MS webpage and you can see that I matched it. I started with $50, push me..
