It’s been great reading what everyone has been up to the last 4 ½ decades. After graduating from SIU with an Accounting Degree I began traveling as an international auditor, moved to Santa Barbara, CA and later Denver, Co. While working I obtained my MBA from University of Colorado. Met my wife Dianne and we have twin boys and a girl. We transferred to Saint Joseph, MI when Whirlpool acquired the Denver Company. I became the Finance Director – later the (CAE) Chief Audit Executive. Ernst & Young acquired the Whirlpool Audit Group to launch their entre into Internal Auditing – I became a partner at E&Y. Left E&Y to become the VP / CAE at Rubbermaid in Maryland. Returned to St. Joseph and finished my career as a Partner at Plante Moran, CPA’s. I retired April 2012. In my career I had the opportunity to travel to 62 countries and experience many cultures and interesting people. Now in retirement - My bucket list includes spending time with family & friends as well as traveling as I hope to visit all the major National Parks in the USA.
Looking forward in seeing everyone at the reunion --- I know I haven't aged since then ... LOL We are now Treasure Island Florida residents - have a summer home in Michigan near the grandkids.
