I think it would be wonderful to register online for the reunion next year. We also need to think about changing our reunion location to a more open, warm environment. We don't have to leave Bluefield, just a better plan to meet and greet, etc. Just think about it and then respond. I know we can have a much better time with those we reguard as friends and family than what we have had in the past. Now, we have a whole year to discuss and include everyone's thoughts. Last year, employees at the hotel left much to be desired. We can do better and take our business elsewhere!

I totally agree with the idea of having a different location for the reunion. My experiences at the previous location has not been positive. I'm sure this was a result of poor planning on the part of the Reunion Committee, but in '07 I found the "meet and greet" affair to be quite a disappointment!The music was bad and I couldn't believe the quality of the food, and make it worse, there wasn't enough of it. We can do so much better, and this could start with newer and younger blood on the committee.The time has come to make some changes 'all around.' Respond with your thoughts.

Yes. For bad the music: We need to have every member submit three or four songs they would like to hear via their registration form or create a Tazewell Reunion song playlist and make sure they are played during the dance. Even our Black music is so diverse now that it's hard to please everyone. We need to tell the Band/DJ exactly what songs we want.

For the Hotel, we are getting ripped off with the meal, rooms etc... Maybe it can be moved to Princeton.
