Class, remember in Mr. Taylor's English class , Friday was reading day. We would all bring our story books to read for an hour. As soon as it got real quiet, "IT" began- the humming (hmmmmmm, hMmmmm) it was soft at first but got louder as the hour slowly passed (HMMMMMmmmm). It would drive Mr. Taylor crazy and he would pace up and down the rows trying to find the culprit(s). As he got close to the back of the room, the humming would stop but start up again at the front.
