After the Air Force, I joined a Sheriff's Dept. in New Jersey. Six and 1/2 years later I joined the US Dept. of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons. Did that for 25 years, the last six years of which I was an Instructor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. After retiring in 2005, I spent approximately two years managing a federal contract at the Training Center in Brunswick, GA. During this 25 years, I was assigned to nine different federal prisons throughout the U.S. in FL, GA, PA, TX, NY, NJ, IL, and TN (I think that's all of them). I held many positions in prisons but I am most proud of the time I spent as an Institution Judge. I held that position in two different institutions. Presently, I work for Walt Disney World in Security. This allows me to bring my family into the parks for free. Dosen't pay much, but the perks are pretty good.
With all the moving around, I married my wife Cynthia in August, 1975. She has stuck with me through thick and thin and I owe her the moon and the stars. She's the greatest.
