First job after finishing my MBA was at Allied Chemical in a program developed to train potential executive leaders by hiring MBA's from top B. Schools. I was the only woman out of 10 MBA's in the country hired. My stint at Allied included working in their textile business on 7th Ave. in NYC, evaluating the viability of the coal and coke operations in WV. and leading marketing research for new products for a chemical they produced.
Took maternity leave when my first child was born, and then decided to stay home until the kids were in Middle School. I then worked at BCBS as head of the credentialing unit and later head of the Small Business group.Retired again till the kids grew up and then began a career as a Financial Advisor for Edward Jones until retiring 4 years ago.

I have been active in the churches we have attended in NJ and MA. I have also led women's Bible studies for over 40 years, both in my home and as the Director of Women's Ministry at my church in NJ and MA.
Outside of church activities I have been involved with teaching aerobics in my younger years, fund-raising and volunteering for a number of non-profit entities in our town, writing a blog, and my book group.

I am very proud of my children who have turned out to be lovely, kind and thoughtful adults and are raising lovely grandkids.
But right now I'm I'm bragging about my son Josh, who wasqualified for the xTerra World Championship in Hawaii. It is a very difficult triathlon that is limited to 200 professional athletes and 200 amateurs from the world. Josh qualified as one of those 200 amateurs and came in the 4th in his age group for the race.

African safari. We have traveled extensively, and have been in N. Africa, but never on a safari! Last item on my bucket list.

We are retired now and are Florida residents in Vero Beach in a tennis community call Sea Oaks. We also have a ski house in Jackson, NH on Black Mountain and are in our Cohasset, MA house in the summer/fall.
I don't ski anymore but the kids and grandkids love to ski and it is only 3 hours from our home in Cohasset were are Daughter Molly who is a teacher and her family live a 5 minute drive to our house. We are blessed.
Son Josh and his wife are having their 3rd child in 3 months. Josh is a doctor at a hospital Alton, New Hamshire on Lake Winnipesaukee. It is a beautiful place in the fall in the mountains.

I never finished my high school in Boardman! My parents moved to Liberty in the end of the last semester of school. They bought me a car to drive to Boardman, buch it was a drag to get from Liberty to Boardman. So I started skipping class!
Whoops.....,the school called my parents asking why I am not showing up! So I lost my car and finished in Liberty High Shcool for the end of my high school.
Someone from Boardman who I can't remember his name bet me I could not get into a Ivy League college. At that point, Cornell was the only Ivy that accepted women in the Arts and Science college, so I applied there. Suprise I got in! It was a wonderful education with people from all the world. I stayed for a MBA degree and I met my husband, John, who worked as a trader on the NY exchange on Broadway.
