School Story
Volkswagon Beetles - John Hollars, Blake Brown, J P Moody and myself - Racing from Hospital to Parkway - Always drove with no headlights on when the moon was full, rounded the curve on top of hill at Central Baptist Church at about 85 mph at 11:00 on Saturday night, Betty Shook and her mom were turning in first drive to rite on other side of hill ( Betty lived there ) I swerved to the left and plowed the ditch for about 150 feet to miss them - Monday morning at School, Betty asked me if I was on Deerfield Rd Saturday night late - and I lied and said No. Her mom knew my car and had said to Betty, I think that was Jimmy Critcher.
I WAS SO JEALOUS OF JOHN HOLLARS ORANGE SUPER BEETLE VW & WHITE STRIPES.
