Katie~what can you say about her except that she was the kindest person, loved and laughed loud and easily. She was the first person I met as a new kid at Canyon Park. We were in choir together but laughed most of the time. We joined so that we could go and do the concerts at the mall :)

She fit into my family, like she belonged there all along, calling my Dad "Dad" He loved it! I look at the pictures of us back in those days and cant believe she is gone. A life much too short.

I will miss so much about her. I know she would have loved to come to the reunion, and the laughs we would have had together will be missed. Katie and I had fun together. She was there for me when I needed her.

Some people are unforgettable. Katie was one of them.

Katie loved her girls so much. They were lucky to have such an amazing Mom. I am sorry for their loss.

I miss you Katie! ~Erin~

I recall first meeting Katie (and Erin) in chior back in the 7th grade; she was in the Alto section and I was a VERY off-key Soprano. Katie and I became pretty tight in our Freshman year and she was such a sweet and thoughtful human being who shared her love openly and embraced people for the individuals they were. She was capable of tremendous depth and was too often misunderstood by many of her peers, perhaps because she was ahead of us in that sense. But on a lighter note, I remember when we decided to practice smoking. I had a bedroom window that opened onto the roof of the house and we climbed out to rehearse being comsmopolitan sophisticates about town. Lame, I know. Anyway, my dad caught us (thank God it wasn't my mom because I dreaded wrath far more) and we got the guilt-laden lecture of our lives.
