I am so saddened to hear of Fred's passing. To me, this was unexpected since heart issues can often be taken care of these days. I wish Devera and Fred's family peace comfort.

My heart goes out to Fred's wife Devera and his family my thoughts will be with them all. I was so glad he and Devera came to the class reunion. It was great to hear how his life turned out how he grew in the lord. He was such a nice guy in school and a caring person. We all know that he is with the Lord looking over and after his family God Bless them all and will keep them in my prayers.

I was so sorry to hear of Fred’s passing, we have lost another dear classmate.  The one thing we can rejoice in is that he loved the Lord, and knowing that we can be assured that he is in much better place now.  God bless you Marine.

Revelation 21:4 New International Version (NIV)

‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’[s] or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

Fred was a good neighbor and classmate. The only problem with Fred was his dog Springer. Bit me twice. Fred didn't bite. Wish I could of said good bye to my old friend. We both loved living on Bear creek in Woodinville. I will miss you but will always have our memories.

Fred was truly one of the nicest guys I knew in school.  It was a privilege to know him.  He used to come into the Bothell State Bank in Kenmore when I worked there and was always upbeat.  My husband and I had the honor of his and Dev's visit to the mine in Montana in the early 70's, which we have never forgotten.  To Dev, all we can say is that we will miss knowing that great guy but are certain that you feel lucky to have been able to love him all these years.

I remember Fred as being quite brilliant, articulate and a read nice guy!  I am saddened to see his life cut short. We exchanged a few lines here on this site and enjoyed some laughs over old times at BHS.  His death makes me hug my chest and offer thanks to God that I was one of the fortunate heart patients that  made it through a heart surgery.  My sincere condolences to Fred's family!  It isn't fun losing classmates, right???  Enjoy every day that we are given.  Life is not guaranteed.
