HERBERT QUINN

HERBERT QUINN Herbert Hugh Quinn, of Boulder City, a devoted husband, father and brother, passed away Jan. 17, 2013, at 82. Herb was born in Butte, Mont., and graduated from Boulder City High School in 1949. He served in the Korean War, and was a lifetime member of the Boulder City Elks lodge. Herb retired in 1987 after 33 years of service as a foreman III at Hoover Dam for the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation. Herb and Marlene were married in Boulder City in 1956 and raised their family there. He was preceded in death by brothers, William Carlos Quinn, Jack Quinn and Michael Quinn. Herb is survived by his wife, Marlene; daughters, Sue Brown of New Harmony, Utah, Kathleen Dickson of Klamath Falls, Ore., and Pam O'Connell of Twin Peaks, Calif.; sons, Mark Quinn of Livingston, Mont. and Bill Quinn of Henderson; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; sisters, Fran Gordon, Mary Peterson and Martha Phillips, all of Las Vegas. According to his wishes there will be no service or funeral.

Love to my wonderful big brother Herb. We miss you today as much as yesterday but not as much as tomorrow. You were always there for your family to share your wisdom and love. I miss not being able to talk and hug you so much. Your sister, Mary
