I'm still working at the beauty shop two days a week and taking care of my youngest granddaughter two days a week and the other three days I get to relax with my husband! Life is good even with its ups and downs!
I was always very shy in school but I will say that I loved growing up in Boulder City! The times in the parks, swimming pool, and playing in the desert was always the best of times! I went to all our reunion trips and had a great time!

When I was a senior, class of 65, you took me up in your airplane. That was so fun and for my graduation you took me out to dinner at the top of the Sahara hotel. We also had a few dates that summer, but you were aways like a brother to me not a boyfriend like you wanted. When you would come to visit Marlene we always had lots of laughs together. Those wonderful memories of our friendship will stay with me forever. I was so sad when I learned of your passing. May in peace you lay. With deepest sympathy, Mary (Quinn) Peterson
I'm so sorry to hear about Robert's death. He was in some of my classes and he was always so nice to me and everyone.Have strength and remember he will always be with you and you will be togther again.
I was sorry to hear of his passing. I only knew him as a classmate and football star. His high school prophecies were that Van Dell would be a professor of nuclear physics at HARVARD. His family and friends are in my thoughts and may you take comfort for those who love will be reunited in eternity. With deepest sympathy, Mary Peterson (Quinn)
I remember Doris and her family when they lived on Wyoming Street because I had the good fortune to babysit for their two young sons when I was a teenager. Doris would always leave the dirty dishes for me to do after the boys went to bed. Of course, I would get extra pay for that job. Also. I could help myself to whatever was around to eat or drink. Their house was where I was first introduced to orange tang. They probably had to buy a new jar every time I babysat for them The Wartman's were a loving family and my deepest condolences to the family. Mary (Quinn) Peterson class of (65)
Marlyne, was a friend to all who knew her. I can still hear her special laugh. In death, she is gone but in our hearts and memories, she is still very much with us. May the love and support of family and friends carry her loved ones past this difficult time. Remember death separates our bodies but our hearts remain the same. I'm so sorry for the loss of another school friend and my deepest sympathy for her family. Mary Peterson (Quinn) class of 65
We learn, we share...and time does fly. My memory of Linda goes back to our high school years. We use to walk to school together and we were neighbors on Wyoming St. She was always very nice to everyone and so smart in school. I was saddened to hear of her loss. When the Lord calls our loved ones home, he leaves a gift of memories in exchange. May Linda's family and friends always hold you in their memories and take comfort in God's mercy and grace that we will meet our loved ones face to face. Where time is endless and joy unbroken.
With my deepest sympathy, Mary Peterson (Quinn)
I'm so sorry, I just learned that you all lost Nell. I wish you all comfort and love as you manage life without her. For Nell a beautiful poem, May in peace you lay with those butterflies as beautiful as you are with their wings as loving arms above you in your newest place in Heaven. Nell was a friend to all you knew her. Rest in peace our friend and go with God. With love and caring, Mary (Quinn) Peterson.
So sorry for her family and friends. Back in the day, I worked for her Dad. She was certainly a free spirit and always kind to me. RIP Joann
Jon was in some of my classes and me being a shy person I didn't talk to many classmates but Jon was always easy to be around. I'm so sorry for his family and friends. May he rest in peace Mary (Quinn) Peterson class of 65
I remember Ed because he was my brother Jack's best friend. He was always nice to us younger ones. May he rest in peace Mary Peterson (Quinn)
I knew Shirley because she was a favorite client in our beauty shop. When she found out I was born in B.C. also we became good friends at the shop. She knew my big brothers and especially Bill. She had nothing but good to say about my brothers or anyone she knew. She had a very kind heart and could she ever talk your head off. She was on her way to the beauty shop when her husband and her had a car wreck. She didn't make a recovery and we were all so sad. Miss you and may you rest in peace. Mary Peterson (Quinn) class of 65
To the youngest one in our family, the one who lost an eye and then his Mother so young. You were loved little brother even though we picked on you so much. We think of you often and love you more today than yesterday but not as much as tomorrow. Your big sister, Mary
My handsome redheaded brother who died too young. You were Mothers, favorite child. I remember you saying hey mom lets go out tonight cause I don't have a date. Or those nights yelling mom when's dinner ready cause I have a date tonight. Anyway you are always on our minds and loved today more than yesterday but not as much as tomorrow. Love, your sister Mary
We miss you so much, my dear sister. You are loved now as much as yesterday but not as much as tomorrow. I'm so happy to have had you for a sister. One we could always count on to be there for us. Love and miss you your sister Mary
