Some of my fondest memories happened as I grew up in Boulder City.
I remember the elementary school parades and decorating bikes; Linda Lee and my adventures in 6th grade with Mrs. French doing math and other things! Always being there at the football game and lighting the "B” with my best friend-Bonnie Skerry and Kathleen Hunter.
Then in our Senior year of high school working to put out the school newspaper- the "Pebbles" together. It was such fun in those days of circle skirts and petty coats. We left our 'footprints in the sands of time’ where we put the Pebbles together!

During these last few years, I have remarried and lived in Colorado. So we have had the opportunity to visit Sandy and Steve in Snowmass,Colorado. They were always so welcoming. Steve and I had the opportunity to refresh our memories from our BCHS class of '60 high school days!
I think back to our BCHS reunion events when Steve made sure to invite ALL of us to dinner together and happily hosted the event.
I admired the wonderful relationship that Steve and Sandy had. It was evident how much they cared for each other. It was always fun to be with them. Knowing Steve, I am sure that he supported many in our class and he seemed always ready to lend a hand!
So here’s to a good man and true gentleman. May he Rest In Peace and May we cherish the memories of the good times we all had together!
Joe was so much fun to know. I remember him the most after our high school days when he and Marjorie came to the BCHS reunions. He certainly achieved so much especially in raising a happy and close family who loved doing things together! My sincere condolences to Marjorie and their many family members.
