Our family moved to San Diego in the middle of my Junior year of high school. After I graduated from Mission Bay High School, I attended San Diego Mesa College in their AA degree program in Medical Assisting. My first job was was for a pediatrician's office in La Jolla. I just loved it. I got married in 1964 and was married for 44 years before my divorce. After my divorce I relocated out to AZ, first in Kingman for a year and then down by the Colorado River in Bullhead City, AZ for two years. While I was in AZ, I visited Boulder City several times and have enjoyed seeing some old friends when I attended several reunions. In late June of 2012, I made a move to FL to take care of my youngest son's first baby. I am currently living in Sanford, FL.
I have very fond memories of my time in Boulder City. Our family moved to Boulder City in 1954, and I started my schooling there in the 5th grade. I remember recess time, where many of the girls would play jacks, jump rope and hop scotch together. As we entered junior high and high school, we participated in many school activities together. I will never forget the friendships with Leslie Sutherland and Carol Ann Curtis in grade school, and on into high school with Judy Ramsey, Marjorie Pease, Julie Norman, Debby Whittington Robin Segerbloom. I loved living in a small town and would not have traded it for anything. These memories will stay with me forever.
