I've written a book about my brother and would love to be in touch with anyone who is so inclined. The website for the book is www.sistersmemoir.com. There is a video there of my trip to Vietnam to visit the area where he died.

Growing up with Bobby @ Moore's Trailer Park there was never any doubt that he would go into the Service.

He was in BC his Senior year but we were not in touch .  My Dad (who had been career Army) talked with him before he went into the Corps.  But then he was gone.

I find it hard to think back when we were boys knowing that Bobby was going to go into the Service at some point.

Its also difficult to imagine that he and Roy Legler left the same year.

There was so much ahead.

Bob was a very good friend in high school. He was smart, positive and a fun guy to be around. One of our activities that I vividly recall is clearing brush around his house and meeting Bob's father who later helped me get a summer job.

Bob's younger sister, Jan Christian graduated from BCHS with the Class of 1970. Several years ago, I bought and read Jan's book, Leave No Brother Behind : A Sister's War Memoir in which Jan honors Bob's humanity, intellect, compelling leadership abilities and his many successes. She also delves deeply into the tragic Vietnam circumstances and what happened in the aftermath to her, Bob's family and Bob's friends in and out if the military. Jan is also good at detailing the everyday life in Boulder City during the early 1960's. From her descriptions, I could visualize places around 1963 Boulder City and people we knew in common.

After reading the book, Myron Jones and I reached out to Jan and had several bittersweet lunch get-togethers to tell stories. Although Jan does not need our praise: her poise, communicative skills and positive smarts greatly remind us of Bob.

I recommend Jan's book, which has the following link: http://www.sistersmemoir.com/
