School Story

If any of you knew me or knew of me you would have probably heard me in my van blowing the "air horns" that I had on it. I always liked standing out in a crowd.

I attended Voc Tec for 2 years, In my second year, I and three (3) other of my school colleagues (Steve Nelson, Loren Lavellett, Jeff Smith, and Tim Wiegal) donated a huge Christmas tree that was placed in the main lobby of Voc Tec and all the class's made or bought (their choice) decorations for it.

The seventies were great times (I'd live them all over again if I could). Have seen the list of those we have lost over the years, my friend Loren Lavelett being one of them, and until I read the list I had no idea that David Yortz had passed and Rhonda Thompson. I guess the old saying is true "No one is guaranteed tomorrow". Still looking for my old friend "Tim Weigel"

The tenth is just around the corner and I envy all of you that are able to attend this gala. If there is drinking involved throw a couple to those we have lost.......soooooo many.

I was thinking back at the times of walking the hallway of school and a girl came to mind (can't recall her name) but she was not very tall, thin, had short black hair, and seemed to me to wear those micro-mini skirts (dressed all
in black), black eyeliner and the rest. She didn't seem to be real talkative as well. But she did stand out; Does Anyone recall her in any of your classes?

Have been looking for Terry Woodbury but think she graduated in 1972 (out of the new Fairview) she dated a friend of mine (I'm still looking for Tim Wiegel) he graduated in 1971.
