Loren was my best friend, we met in our sophomore year (1969) of school and were introduced to each other by another classmate Steve Nelson. Loren was a very quiet guy and later found that he was what we call an introvert. We soon found out that we both had our love of music and musical instruments, he played a (6) string guitar (later upgraded to a 12-string) and I took up playing the 5-string banjo, and together we began to indulge ourselves in "Bluegrass" music. The day I found out that he took his life up above Telluride, Colorado I discovered that I wasn't there for my friend when he needed me, he was going through a depression that I wasn't aware of at the time. Anyway, All I wanted to say was: " I LOVE YOU LOREN and I miss you and having you around. RIP my friend!!!!
