Hey Adam - If you want to find a way to get me a copy of those photos, either via email or even if I have to come borrow them and scan them. I would love to add them to the website. Please let me know. I will do whatever is easiest for you. Thanks!

To all who are working on this site, I am very impressed at how you are FAITHFULLY executing this website. It's fantastic. My favorite part is that I'm now going to be able to recognize all those who no longer have big curly hair.

Okay it has been awhile since i have seen someone post a message I thought that I would do it.

Last week my husband and I went out for Chinese food and lo and behold the fortune in the fortune cookie read:

'FRIENDS LONG ABSENT ARE COMING BACK TO YOU'

What do you know and they are...........

I don't know how many people are reading the messages in the forum, but I just wanted all of you to know that the reunion committee has put tons of time an effort into making our 20 reunion really cool! There have been questions about the price. Let me just say that the ticket price is NOT just for dinner!!! That price includes, dinner, the DJ, Audio/Visual rentals, VENUE (Which is AMAZING!!), bar tenders, decorations, stamps, nametags, you name it! The Class of '89 had ZERO budget to start with - so please know we have tried to make this affordable, but make it AMAZING at the same time. The location alone is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! It's classy and unforgettable! If you haven't purchased your tickets yet - please reconsider doing so. It's once in a lifetime - we want it to be worth it!

Anne -

Our website has been paid up for the next 2 years. Photos will continue to be added before and after the reunion as we are hoping to continue payment on our website after that. As for the gondola it is enclosed.

I just want to say "thank you!" to whoever added that picture of me in the Photos section. I don't have too many documented photos of my mullet, and that is a great addition to my portfolio. Please send me copies for my posterity!

Stephanie -

Thanks for posting and letting us know about your frustrations and concerns. We as a committee have been very concerned with every aspect of planning our reunion and how it will/would personally effect each classmate. The testimonials were never meant to offend anyone and have also been removed website. Thank you for your input.

In this uncertain economy, all of us have financial issues that we are dealing with. Many of us have young children, or are single parents with kids we have to leave at home. Many will struggle with gas prices, ticket prices, not being employed, or even location of the event.

With that said, many of us have put HOURS of time and effort into planning this event. The committee, with the exception of the officers, is completely voluntary. We have each spent many hours away from our own families and lives to plan this event. And although we cannot plan for every scenario, we did take into consideration as many as possible during our planning and have not intentionally tried to exclude ANYONE.

We encourage classmates to plan other events that are not committee sponsored!!! Feel free to let us know and we will be more than happy to advertise and notify via the website (for example, Mike Bearnson's golf tournament).

Again, feel free to plan an activity and let us know. We will be happy to get the word out.

Thank you again for your input -

Reunion Committee

I'd like to thank Shane Hadley for his work as the Decorating Committee Chairperson. The plethora of paper-machete decorations, of all shapes and sizes, show some real artistic skill and vision.

Thanks again!

PS It's rumored that Shane is making a life-size Brave out of plaster-of-paris - hope it's true.....

Okay you all, for those of you that cannot make it to the Dinner and do still want to get together for some fun and catching up, there are some of us that have planned a Saturday Free Get Together at Rocket Park (even though there is no rocket at the park anymore) Here is the blog on it so, come and have fun.

Hey Kristin, bad news, the life-size Brave was "mortally wounded" (direct quote) when Shane got giddy the other night and got inside it. Apparently it broke when he fell over and landed on his youngest child (she's doing fine).

Maybe he can tape it???

Ohhhhhh Chris and Shane..... I am so hurt that you would injure the Brave......... I am devestated about the loss of our Great Warrior..............

Well, the Thursday night shindig was a fun little get together. Not a bad way to spend $5 and 3 hours. I hope we get a report of the Park City portion later.

Dear Committee Members and Friends,

I know it is soon to be posting this, but I wanted to say Thank You and WOW! The reunion was fabulous and fun! So many people came. It was great to reconnect. The food, atmosphere and slide show were great too. Thanks for all the hard work you did! I didn't even think it was possible to stay up until 3:00 am anymore, but we talking to the drifting crowd until them and had a great time! I think this web site has been amazing too. It helped me to look forward to meeting people I had read about, helped me feel less nervous, and help me feel updated and connected to our long lost friends. You really out did yourself!

Thanks for everything!

Cynthia (Christensen) and Gus Hart

Hey BHS '89ers!! Yah, we're all feeling the love! I want to thank all of you for planning and attending the reunion activities on Thursday and Friday nights. I have to admit this was one of the best parties I've attended. Our reunions get better each time we get together. It seems that after 20 years, we are willing to give our friendship right when we see each other, instead of waiting for others to give theirs to us first. Our walls are down and we are eager to renew old friendships and make new ones.

I had the best time. Some of my favorite highlights include: seeing so many of us after so many years, The Canyons Resort in Park City, the Gondola ride in daylight and especially in the dark on the way down, the dinner presentation/slide show, Paul Doty's 3 reasons why people become teachers:(June, July and Aug!) Jon Pexton and Scott Budge owning the "Best Hat award" (No kidding..these guys have the hair genes!) Mistaking Brian Adams for Eminem (Seriously! Look at Brian's classmate profile pictures..am I right? Although Brian prefers it when people mistake him for Matthew McConaughey.) Jared Fluhman's sound effects. Hanging out in the hotel courtyard and lobby talking with old friends, wandering through the hotel halls at 4:00AM and finding more friends still awake and talking about how much fun it was to see everyone again. Running into Amy Talbot, Kristen Anderson, and Angie Osborn (and their husbands) Saturday afternoon at Baja Cantina for a nice lunch. It reminded me of High School days when I could drive down 500 South and see so many of you....now I drive 500 South and all I see are Senior Citizens in Buicks going 5 mph....What's up with that? (Imagine if those old folks today had to share the road with a 16 year old Kirk Bradford driving his Dad's Mercedes...)

The only thing better would have been if we could have remained together for a while longer. The turn-out was so well that I felt like I was channel-surfing friends. I have so many unfinished conversations. I would see someone and start talking and 10 seconds later, another friend would come up and before you knew it, the night was over and it was time to go.

Like the end of the 1989 "All Night Party", there was this longing to be able to hang with everyone again...but you don't know when that will be. You hope it will be sooner than 10 years! But our lives are all crazy so who knows?

To those of us who couldn't make it to the reunion: We missed you!! Hopefully we'll all make it next time! But between now and then, this website will remain and I hope we keep this "Reunion High" going by updating our profiles and emailing each other through the "Send Message" function.

It's too easy to get caught up in our daily lives. I forgot how many friends we all have in each other. Thanks again to all of you! High School was great, but this was better!

Take Care and I hope to see you all soon!

Kerry Crowley (Allgood) was a woman of many talents and will be missed by so many who value her friendship and remember her well.  On behalf of the BHS Class of 1989, there was a beautiful red and white bouquet placed at her funeral.  Our thoughts especially go out to the family she leaves behind.
