Erin Eastman

Erin Eastman returned peacefully to her heavenly home after nearly a decade of health struggles. Although we are saddened by her passing, we find comfort in knowing that her suffering is over and that she has reunited with her Dad and other loved ones.

Erin was born on March 24, 1971, in Las Vegas, Nevada. She spent her early childhood in Bunkerville, Nevada, and Cedar City, Utah, where she was joined by her sisters Danielle and Maegen. At the age of seven, her family moved to Bountiful, Utah, where she gained two more siblings, Rob and Drew.

Erin attended Davis County schools and graduated from Bountiful High School after which she attended Salt Lake Community College. Erin eventually settled down in Bountiful, where she raised her daughter Haley and enjoyed many wonderful friendships.

Erin was an aunt to 12 nieces and nephews that she absolutely adored. You could count on Erin for amazing graduation money leis, find her on the sidelines of football games, and at every big life event with a smile on her face and treats in hand.

Erin was a car enthusiast. She started working at the family Jeep dealership at 13 years old, and stayed for many years. She finished her career at the Garff Honda Dealership in Salt Lake City, where her health struggles forced her to retire.

Erin was an extremely creative and thoughtful woman. She found joy in serving others and always went above and beyond for those that she cared for. Erin had so much love in her heart and would meet you exactly where you were, with no judgement.

Although her health continued to decline, she found her greatest joy when she became a “Granny” to Enki. He was the light of her life. He brought her peace in her suffering.

Erin is survived by her daughter Haley (Aden), grandson Enki, mother Claudette Eastman, and four siblings, Danielle Hadley, Maegen Martineau (Brent), Rob Eastman, Drew Eastman (Ashley), and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father Dan Eastman and her grandparents.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 20, 2022, at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah, where a viewing will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday evening, August 19, 2022, and Saturday afternoon 1:45-2:45 p.m. prior to services.
