My husband and I are now empty-nesters, except for our dog, a Sheltie named Koko.
I have worked since grad. either FT or PT, except for 1 yr.when our second child was born. And I'm ready to NOT work anymore----lots of things I would love to spend my time on other than work.
Have done battle with breast cancer (4 1/2 yrs. ago), major surgery, chemo, and then depression. But I was never abandoned by the Lord, and He is still with me.
Have had a total knee replacement 3 yrs. ago--probable from all those intramural football games at ONU. I enjoy the body search at airport security points bec. of my artificial metal knee!!
