Well, today was my 1 year anniversary of sorts when I went to urgent care for what I thought was diverticulitis and was immediately referred to the ER where I was admitted for what the Dr said was a 10cm mass in my small intestine. I was diagnosed with Stage 4A Non-Hodgkins Double-Hit Lymphoma and have had quite the journey since. Complications, hospital stays, near death experiences, but I am in remission now. I have a lot to be grateful for right now, especially my wife Jamie who was by my side throughout my treatment.
