Ann Elsen
Ann Elsen passed away quietly at home Saturday evening, March 1st, after a 2+ year struggle against Bulbar Onset ALS. She was 52. A memorial service was held in Elkridge, MD, to reflect upon a life well lived.
Ann and I were quietly on the writing staff of Off the Wall together. I enjoyed our conversations in that air of free conversation and debate, no subject taboo. An interesting mix of people that meshed together for a fun little paper. I always enjoyed being around her in class and school, she was a kind person with great hopes and a great sense of humor. She was one of the small impacts on a persons life that just made you a better person.

Sorry to learn of her passing! She was a quiet person in high school, but I enjoyed speaking with her in class. I hope she's with the angels now!
