
Neal Welch Neal Robert Welch "Uncle Neal", 49, an 11-year resident of Annapolis, died January 14, at Anne Arundel Medical Center. He was born on February 26, 1961 in Washington, DC. He graduated from Bowie High School in 1979; graduated from the University of Maryland in 1984 with BS degrees in Economics and Natural Resources Management. He worked for the Department of Natural Resources for the past 23 years. Neal enjoyed kayaking, biking, hiking and skiing. He is preceded in death by the late John and Fran Welch. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Welch, whom he married June 25, 2005; brother, Brian Welch (and his wife Pamela) of Lanham; niece and nephew, Rebecca and Jesse Welch. I knew Neal as passing in school and worked with his brother at WMATA. He was a good person and, as with the rest of the class, wish I would have know him a little better. He will never be forgotten.
